I came to Missouri all the way from Germany to get a Master degree in Communications at Lindenwood University. I am a mediapreneur, divergent thinker, football player and avid traveler. I believe social entrepreneurship is the most powerful tool at our disposal to empower people around the world and address the massive social and environmental challenges we face in the 21st century. If entrepreneurship is to reach its full potential, journalism needs to be part of the equation. I want to pursue a career at the intersection of journalism and entrepreneurship.
In the spring of 2013, I sailed around the world on a ship with 600 college students, 9 tech start-ups, world-class mentors and 1 Nobel Prize Laureate, which made me realize that I want to pursue a career at the intersection of journalism and entrepreneurship. I am an avid traveler, football player (American football, yes) and collector of new ways of thinking.
I am also passionate about human rights, a free press and generally making this world safer, more equitable, and more sustainable.
